The 70th session of the European Integration Commission was held under the leadership of the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Gharibashvili. According to the government's press service, the session, held at the government administration, focused on discussing Georgia's reform agenda and approved the action plan for implementing the recommendations of the European Commission. "The preparation of the action plan was coordinated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Parliament of Georgia. The plan was developed with the involvement of all relevant agencies, describing specific steps to be implemented within the framework of the recommendations. The responsible agencies and the deadlines for implementation are clearly defined," as noted in the information from the Government of Georgia.



Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze Meets with Turkish Counterpart Yasar Güler

Juansher Burchuladze held a bilateral meeting with the Minister of National Defense of Turkey, General Yasar Güler. Talking to his colleague, the Minister of Defense of Georgia thanked the Turkish side for its firm political and practical assistance and unwavering support for Euro-Atlantic aspirations.

According to the Defense Ministry of Georgia, the minister highlighted the successful cooperation with the strategic partner in the defense sector, emphasizing Turkey's active involvement in the development of Georgia's defense forces, including material-technical and financial assistance.

Among the key subjects addressed during the meeting were the security environment in the region, emerging challenges, and growing threats in both the Black Sea region and the global context. The discussion delved into topics such as collaboration with NATO, military education initiatives, and the coordination of joint military exercises.
